Happy Savage Shows Of The Past

JUNE 26, SUNDAY, SEATTLE PEACE CONCERTS. Join us for an afternoon of fun and music in MAGNUSEN PARK, celebrating 25 years of Seattle Peace Concerts. Music starts about noon, Happy Savage plays early, about 1:15, so get there early! We'll be followed by Little Big Man, Vegitation, and Clinton Fearon.

Magnusen Park is the same as Sandpoint, at the east end of NE 65th St.

Beth Collins will be joining us, and Guido Perla of Little Big Man on drums.

APRIL 22, FRIDAY, EARTH DAY, we will be playing a benefit for the Native Forest Council, at the NECTAR LOUNGE in FREMONT. The show starts at 9:30 with "10 Pound Libido". HAPPY SAVAGE plays at about 11:30. Tell your friends! Come on out and make it a party! Beth Collins will be joining us, and Guido Perla of Little Big Man on drums.

The door charge will be $7, which goes to support the Native Forest Council. Bring a used CD or movie for $2 off. These will be sold by EcoEncore to support the Native Forest Council. The Nectar Lounge is at 412 N. 36th St., phone 206-632-2020.

The Native Forest Council is working to end destructive extraction industries operating in National Forests. Strip-mining and clearcutting cause extensive environmental damage to public lands, and often receive huge subsidies at taxpayer expense. Ending these practices is a good cause to support, and you can have fun at the same time!

JULY 18, SUNDAY about 1:30, HAPPY SAVAGE will be playing for Seattle Peace Concert at Golden Garden's Park, followed by LITTLE BIG MAN. We will have Little Big Man drummer GUIDO PERLA on drums. This show is OUTDOORS, FREE, ALL AGES.

APRIL 30, FRIDAY, 9 -1, HAPPY SAVAGE is back with a show at THE RAINBOW, A Benefit for The NATIVE FOREST COUNCIL, an environmental group working to save forests on public lands. Another local band "AT THE SPINE" will be opening at 9:00, followed by HAPPY SAVAGE. The NATIVE FOREST COUNCIL will also present some video images and information about forest conservation issues.

This show at THE RAINBOW will include BETH COLLINS on vocals. On drums we will have GUIDO PERLA from Little Big Man.

This is the first Happy Savage show since October 2003. New recordings are still in the works, but we had to accept an offer to play for a bunch of TREEHUGGERS! I hope we will see many of our Happy Savage extended family sisters and brothers at this show.
